Formerly Casa del Fascio and, after the war, Casa del Popolo, since 1979 the building on Via Locchi has housed the Municipal Library named after Figline's most illustrious son, humanist Marsilio Ficino.

On the ground floor, in addition to the reception and orientation service, there is a children's room and a periodical reading room, from where there is also access to the small and cozy outdoor garden.

On the upper floor are two large study rooms in which most of the non-fiction and fiction holdings are stored.

It has about 45 thousand volumes, with special thematic sections reserved for inclusive reading, civil and social rights, theater, biographies, and genre literature. It also features a rich media library with about 1,000 films and documentaries on DVD.

The Marsilio Ficino Municipal Library hosts children's workshops and book presentations, the meetings of the Municipal Libraries Reading Group, the seasonal reviews "Christmas in theLibrary" and "Spring in the Library," and other free events open to the public on the occasion of the main events organized by the Municipality of Figline and Incisa Valdarno, including "Autumnia" and "Waiting for Autumnia," "THiNK - Festival of Digital Culture."

Opening in July 2023, Incisa's new "Gilberto Rovai" Municipal Library will be a newly built 300-square-meter facility in the area of the former Municipal Slaughterhouses.

It houses a main reading room, with comfortable stations for studying and consulting volumes; a multipurpose room, suitable for reading but designed so that it can also accommodate meetings, activities, workshops, and other initiatives; and a room with books and games for girls and boys aged zero to 14.

The library has a large garden, with tables and seating for relaxation and study, and a flowery area, the "Gabri Garden," dedicated to the memory of Gabriella Operi.

It has about 25,000 volumes. Every year, at the end of October, it organizes "A Square of Books," a library festival. It hosts children's workshops, book presentations, the Municipal Libraries Reading Group meetings and other events.

The library is named after Gilberto Rovai, an Incisano who died prematurely in 2004 due to neurofibromatosis. He was one of Leonardo Pieraccioni's best friends who, in his memory, chose to name the main character in the film "I Love You in All the Languages of the World" after him, Gilberto Rovai.
