The Concert Season of the Garibaldi Theatre reopens with four appointments with the Orchestra della Toscana, flanked from time to time by internationally renowned conductors and soloists.
Florentine Lorenza Borrani, who trained at the Scuola di Fiesole under Piero Farulli and then wanted by Claudio Abbado for the Orchestra Mozart, will return to the Garibaldi stage where she had already performed in 2018 again in the dual role of concertmaster and violin soloist on 26 February. A programme in dialogue between classicism and contemporaneity, with compositions by Bruno Maderna ("Music of Gaity" and a selection of movements from "Odhecaton Suites") alternating with Symphony No. 56 and Symphony No. 90 by Franz Joseph Haydn.
Prices for the concert season are: numbered seats stalls €11, reduced €9; numbered boxes €9, reduced €6. Under-35s and over-65s, students at conservatories and music and choir schools, Unicoop Firenze members, members of the Credito Cooperativo Valdarno Fiorentino and the Mutua del Valdarno Fiorentino are entitled to a reduction. Free admission for the under 14s accompanied by an adult.
Tickets for the concert season will be available for all in advance online from 20 October at www.teatrogaribaldi.org/biglietteria and through the Ticketone circuit. Presale will also be available at the theatre ticket office (Piazza Serristori - tel. 055952433) from the third day before the date of the performance, from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Online purchase is also possible at the Unicoop Firenze points of sale.
The season at the Garibaldi Municipal Theatre in Figline is organised by the Municipality of Figline and Incisa Valdarno in collaboration with the Orchestra della Toscana for the concert season and with the support of BCC Valdarno Fiorentino, Mutua Valdarno Fiorentino and Unicoop Firenze.
