Through Dec. 16, the periodic quarterly review that, for the third year in a row, the municipality is organizing to promote reading among different age groups continues. The title chosen for this year's edition is "For a Community that Reads," and in addition to hosting events at the library, it also offers them at the Figline Praetorian Palace, the Ridotto of the Garibaldi Theater and the social center Il Giardino.
This is where Angelo Australi will return on Saturday, Oct. 21, for a literature-themed lecture, starting at 5 p.m.
In detail, he will recount at the headquarters of the association Il Giardino (Dalla Chiesa gardens, Figline) the last days of Percy Bysshe Shelley 's life in Italy. This will be based on research by Fabio Flego (present at the meeting) and some poems by Shelley himself.
