The second round of conversations on great Italian literature will be held Thursday, Feb. 8, at the Il Giardino community center (Dalla Chiesa gardens on Via Roma, Figline), part of the reading promotion event titled "Literary Agenda for a Reading Community."
A way to learn about great novels through read alouds curated by Angelo Australi .
The appointment is set for 4:30 p.m. for an in-depth look at Futurism and the literature of the First World War. For the occasion, excerpts from works by Aldo Palazzeschi, Clemente Rebora, Camillo Sbarbaro, Umberto Saba, Scipio Slataper, Piero Jahier, Sibilla Aleramo, Antonio Gramsci and Piero Gobetti will be read.
