OnSaturday 9 December at 5 p.m., at Sala Sarri (Piazza San Francesco, Figline), the exhibition 'Le immagini del Don Chisciotte. L'iconografia del cavaliere errante dall'arte di Impero Nigiani al fumetto Disney", with works by Impero Nigiani, Marco Bonechi, Paolo Maione, Armando Fontana, Carlo Staderini, Andrea Rauch and Claudio Sciarrone. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be attended by the mayor Giulia Mugnai, the councillor for Culture Mattia Chiosi, the president of the Regional Council Eugenio Giani and the artists of the exhibition.
The exhibition will be on display at Palazzo Pretorio until 28 January and can be visited (with free admission) on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The exhibition is part of the review entitled "Don Quixote. La figura e il simbolo dell'impossibile", organised over the Christmas period by the Cultural Department of the Municipality of Figline and Incisa Valdarno to acquaint the general public with the famous character created by Miguel de Cervantes and to grasp the relevance of his message.
