Together with Enzo De Caro, the actress will be on stage in Figline on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 January in "Diamoci del tu".
It will be Anna Galiena to open 2016 at the Garibaldi Theatre in Figline, which on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 January will host the third appointment with the 44th prose season. The Roman actress will be on stage together with Enzo De Caro in "Diamoci del tu" (directed by Emanuela Giordano), a 2012 comedy by award-winning Canadian playwright Norm Foster.
Anna Galiena returns to perform on the stage of the Figline theatre after staging 'Una relazione privata' in 2001/2002, while Enzo De Caro is a guest of the Garibaldi for the first time.
PLOT- The story is about a successful writer, David, who suddenly discovers he knows nothing about the life of his housekeeper Lucy, who has been at his side for 28 years. She, however, knows everything about him, and on a cold November evening the two confront each other for the first time, talking to each other without the formality of the roles in which they had constrained themselves for almost three decades. We thus witness surprising, amusing but also moving revelations. They talk about literature, family legacies and loneliness through language that is never predictable, cultured and full of lively humour. The author's skill lies in creating two characters who are as real as they are engaging, who are eager to tell about themselves and all of us before the curtain falls.
