The Perlamora Festival continues at the Perlamora Cultural Center (Via Golfonaia, 29 - Pavelli Location), offering a new evening event.
The meeting will be held on Sept. 7, at 9:30 p.m., and will focus on the theme of history and anniversaries. In the year that marks the 50th anniversary of Don Milani 's death, his figure, combined with the experience of the Barbiana school, will be discussed, along with that of two other illustrious priests, Turoldo and Balducci. These are three figures who, each in his own specificity, helped bring about change in Catholicism in the second half of the 20th century by focusing on culture.
The meeting will feature: Giancarlo Bruni (Bose Community), who will talk about Father Davide Turoldo; Sandra Gesualdi (Don Milani Foundation), who will speak on Don Lorenzo Milani; Carmelo Mezzasalma (Community of San Leolino) who will illustrate the figure of Father Ernesto Balducci.
Coordinating the meeting and introducing it will be Severino Saccardi (editor of Testimonies magazine).
Also scheduled are some themed readings, by Giampiero Bigazzi (director of Orientoccidente)
