Train citizens on topics related to the world of work,information and communication, but also civic education and the Italian language, to help them navigate particular situations in daily life (full program)
This is the goal of Casa Petrarca LAB, a series of theoretical and practical meetings - curated by the Press Office and the Participation Office of the Municipality of Figline and Incisa Valdarno - to be held free of charge from April to July at Casa Petrarca (Piazza Benassai, Incisa - www.casapetrarca.org). The project also aims to be an opportunity to understand how much everyday life is influenced by social media and how increasingly imperceptible is the border between virtual and real, even in the relationship between citizens and institutions.
All for a total of 10 meetings, which will be hosted in the conference room and the computer room, located respectively at the back and on the ground floor of the building (recently restored and inaugurated last September 13) where Francesco Petrarch lived until the age of 7. One can choose to attend individual courses or theentire training; in the latter case, a certificate of participation will be issued. In addition, an expert in the subject matter of the day will be in charge of each appointment, who will also provide information materials to those present.
It starts on April 9, at 10 a.m., with a meeting entitled "From word of mouth to social. Some tips for finding a job" during which Gianluca Torrini (of the communications agency SoWhat), along with some representatives of Cgil, Cisl and Uil, will talk about how to take advantage of social networks, and multimedia channels in general, to look for work.
The second meeting, however, is set for April 16, when it will be Luca Raffini(professor at the University of Genoa)'s turn to talk about the influence of new technologies and social media on the development of new forms of democratic participation. The title of the meeting is "New forms of participation. The contribution of social media and new technologies in democratic processes" and will begin at 10 a.m.
The May meetings will be opened on Day 7 by Walter Quattrociocchi (visiting professor at Northeastern University and professor at IMT Alti Studi Lucca) andNicolaNovelli (editor of the first Florentine online newspaper, Nove da Firenze), who will analyze the issue of the spread of hoaxes on the web. If this appointment is reserved for journalists registered with the Order of Tuscany (bookings on the appropriate Sigef platform from 15/04 to 05/05; worth 3 credits). On the other hand, the course on May 14, at 3 p.m., entitled "La Crusca incontra Lercio. Reflections on Italian irRetito." This is an opportunity to talk, in a dynamic and entertaining way, about how much the Italian language has been influenced by the advent of new technologies, mass use of the web and social media, in the company of Vera Gheno (Accademia della Crusca) and Andrea Michielotto (Lercio.it). Then, on May 21, Fabio Maria Saccà (ComuneFiv secretary), Ilaria Occhini (ComuneFiv manager), Maria Cristina Ielmetti (Comune Fiv Information Services manager) and Francesca Cecconi (Communication and Information functionary Regional Council of Tuscany) will take the stage, ready to explain how a public body works, with particular attention to the way services are provided and, in general, the relationship between body and citizen. The title of the meeting is "How a public body works. Transparent administration and social media at the service of citizens" and will start at 10 a.m. On May 28, on the other hand, it will be Cgil, Cisl and Uil who will help morning participants navigate the world of bureaucracy and taxation, in the meeting "Taxation. How to survive bureaucracy" (10 a.m.).
In June we return to talk about work, with a double date set for June 11 and 18. Curating the first meeting, titled "How to do business. From thepeople of VAT numbers to companies," will be accountant Mauro Bigazzi (10 a.m.); holding the second, however, will be Valentina Falcinelli (copywriter) and Matteo Pogliani (Open Box social marketing expert), who starting at 2:30 p.m. will be engaged in the workshop entitled "The craft of writing. Creativity, technique and practical uses."
Double appointment also in July, on the occasion of the closing of Casa Petrarca Lab. On July 2, it will be Carabinieri and Guardia di Finanza who will take the floor to provide advice and tips on how to avoid becoming victims of scams and scams, on the web but not only; the appointment with the meeting entitled "Eye on the Scam. Tips from law enforcement to avoid scams" is set for 10 a.m.
Officially closing the training, on July 6 at 9 p.m., will be the workshop "Advertising Online. Google, Facebook, Instagram and digital promotion channels." It will be curated by Giordano Dolfi (of the communications agency SoWhat), who will reveal the advertising techniques and marketing tools that lie behind traditional ads but also within social media.
