OnSunday, Oct. 13, Palazzo Pretorio (in Piazza San Francesco in Figline), on National Families at the Museum Day, will host at 3 p.m. the event "Once upon a time ... games and toys of antiquity." The initiative is free and open to all: starting dto the archaeological remains will try to reconstruct the games that children and adults of ancient Greece or the Roman Empire, or even Etruria built in their time. Games of the past, very simple and made of poor materials, such as wood, clay, rags and sawdust, but also "timeless" games, such as the ball, the swing, the spinning top and the kite.
During the day it will be possible to visit the archaeological exhibition "Traces of Archaeology" set up on the second floor of the Palace, and also the new exhibition "A Mine for Valdarno" on the second floor.
