Once again this year for Tuscany Day , the City of Figline and Incisa Valdarno, in this case the Presidency of the City Council and theDepartment of Culture, has organized a series of events with the theme "Leopold's Legacy: reforming in order to build," with the aim of focusing on the recognition of diversity as richness and the organization of work and living spaces.
The first event is set for Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 10 a.m. in the Council Chamber of Figline City Hall (Piazza IV Novembre), where a lecture by Professor Fabio Bertini, president of the Tuscan Committee for Risorgimento Values, will be held. The title of the meeting is "That idea of reform, from Pietro Leopoldo to the Constitution" and will analyze the elements that determined the historical path of our Constitution. The initiative will be attended by Council President Cristina Simoni and Culture Councilor Mattia Chiosi, as well as several classes of students from the "Vasari" and "Ficino" high schools.
The other dates, however, are scheduled for Dec. 6, 7 and 11, with closing set for Feb. 11.
