"Readings in History and Civil Education" in its 10th edition, continues this year, at theMarsilio Ficino Institute with a study conference in several meetings entitled: " Mafia and Anti-Mafia: History and Reasons for a Civil Battle" in which the issues of the Mafia mentality and Libera's commitment will be discussed. The initiative, which will be held on three dates (Feb. 7, Feb. 19 and March 6), is organized by the Marsilio Ficino Academy, the "Marsilio Ficino" Paritarian Institute and Libera, under the patronage of the Region of Tuscany and the Municipality of Figline and Incisa Valdarno.
The first event on Friday, Feb. 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Institute'sAula Magna will open with greetings from the mayor of Figline and Incisa Valdarno, Giulia Mugnai, and lawyer Sabrina Dei, president of the "Marsilio Ficino" Academy. This will be followed by various speeches addressing the issue of the mafia mentality. The morning of speeches will be chaired by the school director of the Marsilio Ficino Institute.
