On Sunday, June 3, a new edition of the medieval festival "Da i' Petrarca," dedicated to the century between 1400 and 1500, will be held in Incisa, Castello. It starts at 10 a.m. with the qualifiers for the Tournament of Archers, which will see the competitors who made it to the finals compete at 3 p.m. At 4 p.m., however, medieval jousting and the Castle snack will kick off, while at 5 p.m. there will be the Palio degli scalzi (barefoot contest).
Speaking of the Palio, in anticipation of the Donkey Palio (to be held in Incisa in September) at 5:30 p.m. the banner of the Donkey Palio will be presented. At 6 p.m., the evening will continue with the awarding of prizes to the winning Knights before concluding at 7:30 p.m. with a murder mystery dinner curated by From Beyond. This is the menu for the evening: appetizer of the murder, first course of the murderer, second course of the suspect, dessert of the culprit.
The initiative is promoted by the Pro Loco "Caselli," together with the City Council, the Palio dei ciuchi, Hannibal's Devils, Le Botteghe del Petrarca natural shopping center and Confesercenti.Ā
