The initiatives scheduled for 'Let's do Christmas together', with which Figline and Incisa Valdarno prepares for Christmas, continue.
12 December will be a day dedicated to music, with 15 musicians playing along Corso Mazzini and Corso Matteotti and in Piazza Ficino, from 4 to 8 p.m. The Schiacchetrà Street Band will perform Balkan music.
Meanwhile, the association Archeo Club Valdarno Superiore will be in Piazza Salvo d'Acquisto 54 for an archaeology-themed workshop. From 4 to 6 p.m., visitors will be able to learn with them how to make vases, wall paintings and many other objects and decorations, all strictly handmade.
Alternatively, music lovers can take advantage of the literary-musical salon that will be held at the 'Marsilio Ficino' Institute (Salone della Musica, Piazza San Francesco). Starting at 5 p.m., in fact, Luca Decembri will read excerpts from the works of English writer Jonathan Coe, with musical accompaniment (English pop theme) by Marco Badiali and Paolo Mugnai.
From 7 p.m. onwards, instead, we will move to Villa Casagrande (via Del Puglia, 61) for a dinner inspired by Futurist cuisine entitled "Quisimangia futurista-Il futurismo a tavola". The meeting - organised by the Le Muse association - will be curated by Daniela Matteini.
