On Saturday, May 26, the third meeting of the spring edition of "Health Saturdays" will be held at the Arci Rinascita circle in Figline (Via Roma 17, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.). This is the series of free meetings that, for the second year in a row, the Municipality of Figline and Incisa Valdarno - in collaboration with the Arci Rinascita club in Figline and the Ausl Toscana Centro company - is dedicating to the promotion of healthy lifestyles, wellness and prevention.
On Saturday, the subject of the meeting will be adolescents, struggling with old and new addictions. It will, therefore, be an opportunity to explore issues arising not only from alcohol and drug use, but also from gambling and the distorted use of social media, which can result in sexting and cyberbullying.
Exploring these issues will be medical toxicologist and psychotherapist Laura Angelica Berni, social worker Lucia Fabbri, psychologist and psychotherapist Michela Perez, and nurse Walter Verdi.
The review will close on Saturday, June 9, when the role of parents in raising their children will be analyzed, with a focus on the emotional side of the educational journey. Delving into the topic will be Michele Mannelli, pedagogist and coordinator of municipal preschools, and psychologist (as well as director of the Childhood-Adolescent Mental Health Center Ausl Toscana Centro Centro Sud-est) Gabriele Zeloni.
Each meeting will be followed by an aperitif, offered to all participants. In addition, to encourage the presence of parents, a free entertainment and animation service for children will be provided during the conferences by educators from the Conkarma association.
