On May 19, the second of the free meetings of "Health Saturdays," now in its second year and promoted by the City of Figline and Incisa Valdarno in collaboration with the Arci Rinascita di Figline club and the Ausl Toscana Centro company, will be held.
Following the success of the 2017 edition, the City Council has decided to double the number of appointments themed on prevention, health and wellness and spread them over two different periods of the year: the first block of appointments is starting on Saturday, May 12, and focuses on issues related to childhood and adolescence; the second, which will take place next fall, will be dedicated to the older age groups, with special attention to the elderly.
On Saturday 19, from 10 a.m. to noon, the Arci Rinascita circle in Figline (17 Via Roma,Figline) will discuss autism, learning disorders and personalized educational methods.
The first two topics will be addressed by child neuropsychiatrist Brunella Centoni and speech therapist Elisa Borgogni . Next, Ilaria Giachi, Figline elementary school teacher and instrumental figure for pupils with special educational needs, will speak.
