The initiatives of the review "Sol chi cammina è degno di arrivare. Vittorio Locchi: the time, the work and the history of a young intellectual," which the City of Figline and Incisa Valdarno has decided to dedicate to Figline intellectual Vittorio Locchi in the year that marks the 100th anniversary of his death. This is a total of seven events, organized in collaboration with the Figline Philatelic Numismatic Circle, the Arno Photographic Circle, the MCL "Fanin" Circle and with the support of Adelmo Brogi, Giacomo Beni and Lando Locchi, who have made available material from their private collections.
On Friday, Feb. 24, theappointment is at the Praetorian Palace where, at 10 a.m., several classes from local high schools will participate in a meeting entitled "The Singer and His Time" (free admission).
In detail, Sergio Sammicheli will illustrate the epochal significance of the Great War, while Bruno Bonatti, in collaboration with Circolo Mcl "Fanin," will talk about the figure of Locchi as a soldier poet.
