The appointment with "Alceste's Garden," the literary review-organized by the municipality, in collaboration with the House of Peasant Civilization in Gaville, the Parish of San Romolo in Gaville, the SMS Poggio alla Croce Circle, the ARCI La Massa Circle, the ARCI Burchio Circle and the ARCI Ponte agli Stolli Recreational Circle - offering a series of scenic readings in the town's hamlets.
The subtitle of the2018 edition is "A bruzzico. Tales just before the night" and will be spread over 5 dates. In continuity with last year's much-appreciated program, the choice of songs has fallen on authors and stories that fully represent the atmosphere of suspense and mystery that is intended to be evoked. Each text, moreover, possesses a structure that mirrors that of the hearth story.
It starts on Wednesday, July 4 at 9:30 p.m. from the Cortile della Pieve di San Romolo (Figline), where the Cantiere Artaud company will stage some of Ray Bradbury's short stories "The Jar" and "The Scythe ."
On this occasion, Sara Bonci and Ciro Gallorano will have the role of acting voices, while providing musical accompaniment will be Irina Denissova (accordion) and Roberta Stancu (violin).
At the end of each evening, light refreshments will be provided, during which participants will be invited to tell a story of their own.
