The"International Mini meeting Italy 2023," the event sponsored by the Municipality of Figline and Incisa, now in its 41st edition and organized by the association "Mini Owners for International Mini meeting 2023," which has chosen Figline and Incisa Valdarno as the location, is just a short time away.
This is a great opportunity for visibility for the municipal area, since the event will attract guests from all over the world, national media and many visitors, who will arrive in Figline just for the occasion.
Scheduled for May 25-29 are entertainment initiatives (concerts, markets, entertainment, test drives), suitable for young and old and free access for residents of Figline and Incisa Valdarno. Here is the full program of the event: https://www.imm2021.it/program/
All the initiatives will be hosted mainly at the hu Norcenni Girasole village, 7 Norcenni Street - Figline, with the exception of the highlight of the event: the Mini car parade on Sunday, May 28, which, from 9 a.m. to noon, will take place on San Martino Altoreggi Street (from the Sant'Andrea monument in Campiglia) to via del Fattoio. This is the largest Mini parade ever organized, and with some 1,500 vehicles involved, it will try to set a world record.
For safety reasons, given the high number of cars involved, it will be necessary to interdict traffic on San Martino Altoreggi Street. The passage of all emergency and rescue vehicles will always be guaranteed. For any clarifications, details on the initiatives open to the public and for any thematic needs and urgencies, it will be possible to contact the organizer, who answers at 393.9324534 or 392.9802367.
Also part of the event is a drawing contest for elementary school children in Figline and Incisa Valdarno with the theme "Draw the car of the future." About 350 children from the Figline and Rignano-Incisa Comprehensive Institute have participated. Their drawings will be evaluated by a panel of judges and awarded prizes on Saturday, May 27, at 7 p.m. in Marsilio Ficino Square as part of the "Bimbolandia" event (info: https://fivnews.it/bimbolandia2023 ). All drawings will also be exhibited Saturday and Sunday in stores in the historic center.
