Male or female, the important thing is to be yourself
Workshop on gender stereotypes with Metropopular
Suitable for children and teens ages 6 to 10.
The meeting will be curated by Giulia Aiazzi, an actress who specializes (also) in educational theatrical and creative workshops for children.
WHAT IT CONSISTS IN - This is a workshop that alternates the narrative part with playful moments, taking advantage of theatrical techniques.
It begins with the narration of a fairy tale: not a unidirectional tale, but an activity that will make the children protagonists in the first person.
Giulia Aiazzi, in fact, will often interrupt the reading to involve the children in the story, with the aim of stimulating reflection, discussion and participation. Each child will, in fact, step into the shoes of the prince, princess or antagonist of the turn, to rewrite the plot of the fairy tale or its ending in a less stereotypical and more inclusive way.
Part workshop, part role-playing, during this meeting children will enjoy putting themselves in the shoes of the protagonist of the story and make it their own, reinterpreting it through their imagination and everyday life.
Free event by reservation
