At The Garden Community Center, "Made in U.S.A" read alouds return on Thursday, Dec. 5.
With Angelo Australi, from 4:30 p.m., in Via Roma near General dalla Chiesa Park, will begin the meeting on The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain (1884), another famous novel in American literature, published as a sequel to The Adventures of Tom Sawer. The writer casts himself in the figure of Huck, an orphan boy who, after living alone in a sugar barrel, is taken into the care of a wealthy widow; this condition, for Huck however too narrow, will change upon the return of his father who, for financial gain, will snatch him from the lady's care. His adventures with Jim will begin here, in the woods on the banks of the Mississippi River.
