Readings at the Garden are back! This year the stars will be American authors from the 18th century to the present with a program with a "Made in U.S.A." flavor.
On Friday, Oct. 11, at 4:30 p.m., the Marsilio Ficino Municipal Library (on Vittorio Locchi Street) in Figline will host the presentation of the meetings organized by theIl Giardino Association: four Thursdays of "novels and stories aloud" will follow, curated by Angelo Australi. Readings will be from: Tales of Mystery by Edar Allan Poe (Oct. 24), The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne (Nov. 7), Moby Dick by Herman Melville (Nov. 21) and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain (Dec. 5).
The event is part of theOctober-December Literary Agenda calendar, which reports all the initiatives presented by The Garden Association, Circolo Fanin, Circolo Semmerlweis, BiblioCoop and the City of Figline and Incisa Valdarno.
