The 2019 Perlamora Festival focused during the summer season, the last of the events planned for its 13th edition will be Dec. 8, an opportunity to close the program and exchange greetings.
A discussion on "The Ecological City" will be held at the Perlamora Agricultural Historical Cultural Center, Via Golfonaia 29, Pavelli, from 4:30 p.m., starting with the themed volume published in the magazine "Testimonies." After greetings by Lorenzo Melani, President of the Perlamora Permanent Point of Documentation for Peace and Human Rights, and Giorgio Torricelli, Artistic Director of the Perlamora Festival, speeches will follow from the director of the magazine "Testimonianze, Severino Saccardi, Architect Pietro Bucciarelli, Vincenzo Striano, representative of the Water Right Foudation, Councillor of the Municipality of Figline and Incisa Valdarno Paolo Bianchini and Senator Dario Parrini.
The evening will continue withmusical entertainment by Simone Baldini Tosi and readings by Cecilia Ferretti; some images from the book will be projected and then will move on to speeches by writer Cinzia della Ciana and Literature Lecturer at the University of Siena Andrea Matucci to celebrate the bicentenary of the writing of Giacomo Leopardi'sInfinity (to whom the entire Festival is dedicated).
A concluding appetizer-buffet, offered by Perlamora staff to participants, is planned at 7 p.m.
