It is called "Another Dinner," and it is the debut novel by Simone Lisi, who will be in Figline on May 25 to present it as part of the "Literary Agenda" reading promotion event.
The appointment with the Florentine writer (born 1985) is at the Rovai Library (Piazza Parri, Incisa), where he will be introduced by Mattia Rutilensi and where he will talk about his book starting at 6 p.m.
"Another Dinner" was released last Feb. 1 and is a (dreamy, but lucid) analysis of today's generation of 30-year-olds. In fact, it tells about an ordinary dinner among four friends, made up of conversations (interrupted, resumed, left in the middle) centered on the future and the doubts of a generation.
Simone Lisi has been publishing her stories since 2001, in anthologies, online and print magazines (including Gabinetto Viesseux, Marcos y Marcos, "Scrittori Precari," "Pratosfera," "A few words," "L'inquieto," "Verde Rivista," Effequ). Since 2014, he has been a member of the editorial staff of "Stanza251," an online art and literature magazine. He is one of the founders of the collective "Escaping the Bowl," which deals with cinema and narratives.
