On Thursday, May 24, at 5:30 p.m., Figline's "Staderini" council chamber will host a public meeting to present, to volunteers and area associations, the services and opportunities offered by Cesvot.
This is the Tuscany Volunteer Service Center, a body recognized by the Region under Law no. 261 of 1991, which is responsible for providing Tuscan associations with: a permanent advisory service for business, accounting and tax assistance, on public or private, national or European Union funding; assistance in the planning and establishment of voluntary associations; training of volunteers and executives; organizational support for specific initiatives, funding of integrated intervention projects, organization of conferences and refresher seminars; dissemination and promotion of the results of the main research on Tuscan volunteering; monitoring of the activities and needs of voluntary organizations and their updated census , through a regional database.
In addition, the meeting will be an opportunity to explain to those present the new features introduced by the Third Sector Reform.
Present will be: the president of the Cesvot Delegation of Florence, Ivana Ceccherini; community outreach worker Elisa Giannini; and the councillor for social policies, Ottavia Meazzini.
Space will be left for questions from the audience. All associations in the area are invited to participate.
