The Carnival parade that was supposed to be held on Jan. 31, then skipped due to rain, will be made up today.
This is one of the events organized by Figline'sDon Bosco Oratory , which, also for this "recovery day," has scheduled the floats to depart at 2:30 p.m. from Piazza Marsilio Ficino. From there, the procession will then move along Corso Matteotti, Via Locchi, Via Roma, Via Mascagni and Via Puccini.
Also in the parade will be the float of the "Boys in Papier Mâché" project: the social project (created by the Don Bosco Oratory of Figline, with the contribution of the City of Figline and Incisa and the Valdarno-Masaccio Lions Club) aimed at adolescent and preadolescent boys of different nationalities [for more details, read here].
