A number of original archaeological finds from excavations in Valdarnowill be the protagonists of the exhibition that will be inaugurated on Sunday, Oct. 7, at 5:30 p.m. at the Palazzo Pretorio in Figline, in the presence of the Soprintendenza Archeologia, Belle Arti e Paesaggio and thanks to the collaboration of the municipality, ArcheoClub Valdarno Superiore, Le Ceramiche and Banca BCC.
This is the second part of the exhibition "Traces of Invisible Archaeology in the Upper Valdarno," an itinerary built to bring visitors closer to archaeology by explaining the entire process to which artifacts are subjected, from discovery to historical reconstruction, from restoration to their display in museums.
In particular, the first phase of the exhibition (devoted mainly to the Route excavations and set up since May) displayed reproductions of artifacts and panels made by adults and children during various workshops in the area.
The second phase, however, will showcase various vases and artifacts, including prehistoric tools, Etruscan and Roman ceramics and decorations, and everyday objects: all material currently kept in the Archeo Club's headquarters and which, after 20 years, will be available to the public for the first time, complete with explanatory panels in several languages. As always, admission will be free.

Openings are on weekends and holidays, with reservations available on other days for school and group visits.
