The Valdarno Brick exhibition, organized by the association "The Brick Club" under the patronage of the municipality of Figline and Incisa Valdarno, is back again this year. This is the initiative dedicated to the exhibition of Lego bricks that, from Sept. 30 to Oct. 1, will take place inside the Matassino Sports Hall (Piazza Don Minzoni 6, Figline), along with demonstrations of robotics and free play.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Saturday, Sept. 30, at 9:45 a. m., and will be followed by the opening of the exhibition featuring works, mocs, dioramas and Lego set collections, created by members of the Brick Club, and Lego Mindstorm applications, curated by the ISIS Valdarno Institute of San Giovanni Valdarno (10 a.m.-7 p.m.). At the same time, the exhibition area will host activities by the Archeoclub Valdarno Superiore, Varchi Comics, the toy library "La Cinciallegra" and Leonia di Levane (10:15 a.m.-7 p.m.), while at the athletic track there will be a bike test, organized by Cicli Lusatti of Figline (10:30 a.m.-7 p.m.). The initiatives will be replicated in the same manner on Sunday, October 1.
Admission is free for children and young people up to 12 years old; for others, the cost of admission to the event is 5 euros. Part of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Figline Mercy. In addition, purchasing an admission ticket will provide a chance to win a set of Lego toys (offered by the store "Biribago,30 of the toys"), which will be awarded by drawing. The winning ticket will be announced at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 1.
