(SOLD OUT event)
As Figline and Incisa is tinged with autumn colors, the agenda of environment-agriculture-food-themed events is filling up. This year there are 12 initiatives of "Waiting for Autumnia," all different and all discovering a different detail of the area.
It starts on Friday, October 9, at 6:30 p.m. with a visit to the Piano Nobile of Villa Casagrande, at 61 Via Del Puglia in Figline. After walking through the rooms of the historic Serristori residence furnished with original furniture, the evening will continue in the cellars with large oak barrels: it will be possible to taste different types of wine with the "house" brand. The Villa Casagrande was in fact a farm and, in addition to carrying on a wine production since the 1500s, it has recently housed the Museum of Peasant Civilization in the old rooms that were once used for the vat-room, warehouses, spinning mill and, for a time, even the glass factory.
Reservations are required to attend, subject to availability (maximum 30 people): 055.9544851 - info@villacasagrande.it
The cost of the event is €10 per person.
