Songs, historical re-enactments, charity events, markets and activities for children. These are just some of the initiatives - organised by the Municipality, the 'Aldo Caselli' and 'Marsilio Ficino' Pro Loco, the 'Il Granaio' and 'Le Botteghe del Petrarca' natural shopping centres, together with the local voluntary associations - with which Figline and Incisa are preparing for Christmas.
Kicking off the programme will be the opening of the Christmas markets, set for 3 December in the Arena of Piazza Serristori in Figline (behind the Garibaldi Theatre), where they will remain until 10 January.
Throughout the Christmas period, it will also be possible to admire, in the Sacristy of the Collegiate Church of Figline , the restoration of the 'Saint Anthony of Padua with the Infant Jesus', attributed to the17th-century artist Pier Dandini.
The restoration was carried out thanks to the contribution of the Banca di Cambiano.
