On Jan. 6, Epiphany will be celebrated in the company of the Befana. The Purple one will arrive in Incisa, ready to hand out goodies and gifts to all children. The festive afternoon in Incisa is curated by the Pro Loco Caselli and the Viola Club Sbadati viola and will begin at 3 p.m. with the parade of the Three Kings on horseback (departure from Via Roma, in front of the Fernando bar). At 4 p.m., however, the arrival at the living nativity scene in Auzzi Square and gift-giving; this will be followed by games, entertainment and a stocking of the Epiphany for children organized by the Red Cross and the Sbadati Viola Club, while for older children there will be roasted chestnuts and mulled wine.
In Figline's historic center, however, the sprightly old lady will enliven the afternoon with games and sweets for all, arriving at 4 p. m. from the rooftops of the buildings overlooking Ficino Square. The event is curated by the Pro loco Ficino and the Fire Department.
These appointments are also among the events of "Let's Do Christmas Together," the program for the holidays drawn up by the municipality-along with the Aldo Caselli and Marsilio Ficino Pro Loco, the Il Granaio and Le Botteghe del Petrarca natural shopping centers, and in collaboration with various local entities-which ends today.
