Through December, the periodic quarterly review that, for the third year in a row, the municipality is organizing to promote reading among different age groups is back. The title chosen for this year's edition is "For a Community that Reads," and in addition to hosting events at the library, it also features them at the Figline Praetorian Palace, the Ridotto of the Garibaldi Theater and the Il Giardino social center.
And it is precisely at the Il Giardino community center that a new event in the review, dedicated to reading the great Italian classics, will take place on Friday, Nov. 24 (4:30 p.m.; Dalla Chiesa Gardens).
Curating the event, organized by the Garden and titled "The Origins of Twentieth-Century Literature," will be Angelo Australi.
On this occasion, the ideological profile of Benedetto Croce and his literary criticism will be analyzed.
Free admission.
