It will be staged on May 11 the first of six shows of "Alchimie teatrali," the festival of the municipality of Figline and Incisa Valdarno -- produced in collaboration with the association Prima Materia of Montespertoli (Fi) and coordinated by Angelita Borgheresi -- that awards youth productions made by the theater workshops of local schools and associations.
The title of this first show is "Situations" and was devised by theMasaccio Cultural Association, based in San Giovanni Valdarno, under the guidance of Henrj Bartolini, engaged in the dual role of teacher and director. In detail, the show is a kind of journey to discover the most hidden part of emotion, brought to the stage through the story of the lives of a group of friends, two boyfriends and two sisters. All characters who decide to take different paths and show their evolution, including from the inner point of view. Performing on stage will be Sara Borgogni, Martina Capaccioli, Camilla Caruso, Cora Giannetti,Vittoria Grazzini, Alberto Grasso, Zeno Lodolini, Alessia Martellini Nocentini, Silvia Sestini, Camilla Vada and Rebecca Vertelli. The appointment is set at Teatro Garibaldi (Piazza Serristori, Figline) at 9:30 p.m.
The next show to be staged, however, will be "A Midsummer Night's Dream," by Diesis Teatrango of Bucine, and is scheduled for Thursday, May 18, at 9:30 p.m.
The entrance fee is 8 euros for adults and 6 euros for children aged 14 to 19 and the over-65s. Admission is free up to 14 years of age.
The full cost of season tickets for the 5 shows, however, is 25 euros(reduced: 20 euros, reserved for the over-65s and the 14-19 bracket).
