This year, moreover, the city administration decided to establish the Sport Ambassador Award in memory of journalist Chiara Baglioni. In this its first edition, the prize will be awarded precisely to Chiara's parents, who knew how to tell with originality and irony all the nuances of sports, promoting its values with passion and professionalism. Chiara, we recall, was a sports journalist from Figline, who passed away in April at the age of 30. In addition to being a social media manager and editor for various sports publications, the Figline journalist had collaborated with the City's Press Office in organizing Figline&Incisa Lab, a series of meetings on communication, social media and the Italian language during which she stood out for her competence, professionalism and irony.
Also, to remember her, at 4 p.m. there will be a soccer match with "The Friends of Chiara Baglioni," a special 7-a-side soccer tournament involving parents of athletes from every sporting activity present. This will be followed from 6:15 p.m. by performances by the Talent Academy and Figline Danza dance schools. The day will end at 7:30 p.m. with an aperitif and the presentation of the new Don Bosco Basketball teams.
Admission to the event is free.
