The Christmas Concert on 19 December will officially kick off the 31st Concert Season at the Garibaldi Theatre (Piazza Serristori).
Starting at 9 p.m., theOrchestra della Toscana will perform the Three Chorales of Johann Sebastian Bach (P. 167) by O. Respinghi (1930), A Spell for Green Corn: the MacDonald Dances byP. Maxwell Davies (1993) and Symphony in G major No. 8 op. 88 by A. Dvorˇák (1889).
Conducting the orchestra will be Maestro Donato Renzetti. First violin Andrea Tacchi .
The concert programme will then continue on 12 February, at 9 p.m., with the Carnival Concert conducted by Timothy Brock, while on 26 March, also at 9 p.m., it will be Pablo González's turn to conduct the Easter Concert. In April, the ORT will perform twice: on 7 April with conductor Robert Trevino; on 16 April with Gaetano D'Espinosa conducting. Finally, Daniele Rustioni will conduct the concert on 21 May, which will officially close the 31st Concert Season.
Tickets are available at the Garibaldi Theatre box office (Piazza Serristori) during the following hours: 9.30-12.30 and 16-19.
Prices: numbered theatre seats 15 euros (reduced 10), numbered stage seats 10 euros (reduced 8).
