Along with meetings with authors and children's events, the "Literary Agenda" reading promotion event also includes literary conversations at Il Giardino social center (Dalla Chiesa Gardens, Figline).
The next such meeting, scheduled for Thursday, April 19 at 4:30 p.m., is titled "Birth of Neorealism in Literature. The Polytechnic and the Vittorini-Togliatti Controversy."
For the occasion, some great novels of Italian literature will be explored in depth, including Silvio D'Arzo's "Original Sin" and Natalia Gizburg's "My Trade ." Giuseppe Bonaviri, Vincenzo Consolo, Lucio Matronardi, Milena Milani and Luciano Bianciardi will also be discussed.
