"Serristori Hospital Open" is the initiative promoted by Azienda Usl Toscana Centro for May 27 and 28 in Figline. The first event is scheduled at 6 p. m. Friday on the terrace of Villa San Cerbone with "The Last Diagnosis," a reading from "Kaland" by Sandor Marai directed by Sergio Tavanti and performances by Franco Franceschini Silvia Pecorini, Patrizia Capanni, Federico Cuccuini, Luisella Litta, with musical accompaniment by maestro Gino Dei. At 6:30 p.m., it continues with a performance by the student choir of the Marsilio Ficino Institute directed by maestro Francesco Romano. This will be followed by a guided historical tour with a visit to the Villa and the Antica Spezieria, curated by Dr. Daniela Matteini. At the conclusion of the day, the launching of blue and white lanterns as a sign of hope and good omen.
On Saturday, however, the events move to the Fireside Room, where at 10:30 a.m. there will be a brief presentation of active services at the hospital by facility directors and nursing coordinators; at 11:30 a.m. there will be a technical roundtable with area associations and mayors.
On both dates, in the space in front of the historic entrance of Villa San Cerbone, the nuns of the convent will be present with the initiative "The sweet slices" to fund the Kerala Project. There will also be inflatables and children's makeup, shiatsu area, herbal area, Serristori info point, Calcit point, Avo point, traveling library trolley of "Vasari" students.
