TheRepublic Day celebrations return to Piazza Marsilio Ficino, with the philharmonic concert and fireworks display that, as per tradition, will enliven the evening of 2 June. After two years of restricted celebrations due to the pandemic, the ceremony organised by the Bureau of the Municipality of Figline and Incisa Valdarno returns to Figline's central square, with a performance by the Loro Ciuffenna Philharmonic together with the Garibaldi Theatre Choir and with the participation of the Harmonia Ensemble in a repertoire of classical, opera and contemporary music. And, at the end of the show, fireworks by Pirotecnica Soldi .
Beginning at 9.30 p.m., participation is free of charge. Donations for the diocesan Caritas will be collected during the evening.
