The commemorations will be held Tuesday, April 25, at 9:30 a.m. in Incisa, where a gathering of authorities and combat, military and volunteer associations is scheduled to take place in Piazza Mazzanti, followed by the laying of wreaths. The morning of celebrations will be accompanied by speeches by Mayor Giulia Mugnai and ANPI President Cristoforo Ciracì; City Council President Cristina Simoni will also be present. Following this, around 10 a.m. the Alessandri Chorale conducted by Maestro Paolo Mugnai will perform some songs of the Resistance. The fighting associations will also lay a wreath on the memorial stone dedicated to Salvo D'Acquisto (10:30 a.m. Piazza Salvo D'Acquisto).
At 11:30 a.m. the celebrations will move to Figline, with a meeting in Piazza IV Novembre and the laying of wreaths in Piazza Bianchi, Piazza Averani and in Via Sarri, in front of the monument The Tree of the Universe. Here Mayor Mugnai and Anpi President Ciracì will speak, and then make way for the "Bella Ciao" concert by the "Schumann" music schools of Figline and "Arci" of Incisa conducted by Maestro Franco Berti and the Alessandri Chorale. At 12:30 p.m. more wreaths will also be laid on the graves of Resistance martyrs by the combatant associations.
In the afternoon, the party will instead be held at the Arci club tent (3:30 p.m. at Via Olimpia-Incisa, free admission) with the presentation of the comic book on the Pian d'Albero massacre in the presence of author Pierpaolo Putignano and councillor Mattia Chiosi. At 4 p.m. instead, there will be musical entertainment by the Schumann School of Music of Figline and "Arci" of Incisa. Finally a buffet offered by the Anpi section "Aronne Cavicchi" of Figline and Incisa Valdarno.
