The exhibition entitled "Barbiana and its School" continues and will remain on display at the Palazzo Pretorio (Piazza San Francesco, Figline) until July 2. It is a traveling photographic journey that presents, by themes, various aspects of the life of the small community in Mugello, to educate the children of peasants and the marginalized and to make them understand the importance of study and knowledge. On display are about 60 images, selected from the photographic volume "Barbiana and its School. Images from the archives of the Don Lorenzo Milani Foundation," edited by Pamela Giorgi and Sandra Gesualdi.
The exhibition - curated by Marco Rossi and organized in Figline and Incisa Valdarno by Cristina Bonechi and Cristoforo Ciracì - will be open on Fridays from 3 to 7 p.m., Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 7 p.m.
Admission is free.
