On the occasion of the centenary of his birth, the cycle of readings of Italo Calvino's immense and kaleidoscopic works, the theme of this edition of "The Garden of Alceste," will take place from June 14 to July 19. The reading of these works will be accompanied by performances and music, designed exclusively for the event, with performances by Lorenzo Degl'Innocenti, Luisa Cattaneo and Roberto Salemi.
There are six events and they will take place in Figline's historic center and also in the hamlets, all starting at 9:30 p.m., with free admission subject to availability.
The last evening will take place on July 19 at Villa Casagrande (Via G. B. Del Puglia 61, Figline), with a reading of the work "American Lessons."
