The amateur multi-sport association "Sports and Culture Group" is turning 25 and celebrating them together with members and citizens with a series of initiatives, to be held from May 13 to June 16 under the patronage of the municipalities of Figline and Incisa Valdarno, Rignano sull'Arno and Panathlon Club Valdarno Superiore. Conferences, sports performances, institutional events, social luncheons and award ceremonies are scheduled to celebrate not only the first quarter-century of the multi-sport club but also one of its best years in sports, during which it has won important institutional awards (such as the Gold Band in the call for Ethical Quality Certification and Regional Legal Recognition) and achieved individual and team results, thanks to the work of the Rhythmic, Artistic, Karate, Floball, Zumba and Modern Dance groups. The celebrations kicked off on May 13 and 14 with a sports festival at the "Troghi" tennis courts in Rignano sull'Arno. On May 19, however, there will be a move to Villa Casagrande in Figline for the "Sport, Health and Legality" conference (6-8 p.m.). For the occasion, the theme of doping, that of transparency and that of legality will be explored in the company of Dr. Marco Becattini (coordinator of the department of addictions Usl South-East Tuscany), Dr. Simone Boschi (accountant and tax consultant and teacher School of Sport Coni Tuscany), Tiziano Pesce (national vice president Uisp) and Lieutenant Luigi Cioffi (Guardia di Finanza of Pontassieve). The meeting will be moderated by Mauro Dugheri (Uisp national executive), who will also be in charge of the concluding part of the meeting together with Leno Chisci (Sport and Culture group), who will also introduce the guests at the opening of the conference.
On May 20, however, there will be the "Tutti in campo" sports party, which will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Incisa Secondary School Gymnasium. This will be followed by a parade of athletes between XX September Street and Auzzi Square (7 p.m.), a flash mob (7:30-8 p.m.) and an aperitif (8 p.m. in Auzzi Square; reservations required 055.8335815). For May 21, the polysports club's birthday, a lunch is planned at 1 p.m. (reservations required at 055.8335815) at the Ideal Club restaurant. At 4 p.m., however, it will be back to the Incisa Secondary School gymnasium for the Floball Italia title. May 26 is the date of the second conference in the review, titled "Terranuova: a social network that creates well-being," set for 5:30 p.m. in the Terranuova Bracciolini Council Chamber. On June 1, the appointment instead is at the Circolo Arci in Incisa, for the ordinary social assembly (5:30-7:30 p.m.), where on June 7 at 6 p.m. there will also be an informational meeting of the project "World Research New Generations." On June 3 and 4 it will be the secondary school gymnasium again to host two games: one of Floball (5-7.30 p.m.) and the other of Hitball (10 a.m.-12 p.m.).
The festivities will conclude with music, with the rhythmic gymnastics recital on June 10 (9 p.m.; Incisa Middle School gymnasium) and the modern dance recital on June 16 (9 p.m.; Salesian Theater in Figline).
