There are many initiatives organized by the Figline Mercy from Feb. 10-12 to celebrate St. Andrew Corsini.
It starts on Friday, 10, with the Mass in memory of the departed set for 9:15 p.m. inside the Chapel of Mercy, and will be repeated on Saturday, 11, with the blessing of the panels in the same Chapel (3:30 p.m.).
On Sunday 12, at 9:45 a.m., the procession will instead leave from Fabbrini Street (Misericordia headquarters) , heading towards Collegiata (St. Francis Square). After Mass (10 a.m.), the procession will move to the Misericordia Cemetery, where flowers will be laid. At 12 noon it will then be the turn of the confraternity's emergency vehicles to parade through the streets of Figline, complete with a blessing of the new vehicles. This will be followed by the blessing, at the association headquarters (Fabbrini Street, 12 noon) of the painting "Last Supper," donated by author Mario Pampaloni, and the social lunch (1 p.m.) open to all (participation fee: 15 euros).
