The story staged at the Garibaldi tells of Giovanni and Amalia and how their son, Mario, will be able to find a job now that he has graduated as an accountant. Giovanni learns that a competition will be held for 1,200 new positions at the same ministry where he works. Giovanni decides to enter Mario, but knowing that he could not make it, he goes to ask the office manager if he can favor him. The manager explains to him that there are two tests in the competition, an oral and a written one; in the oral one he can favor Mario, but in the written one he cannot. The office manager, however, seeing John dejected, asks him if he is willing to join Freemasonry, so that he, too, can know the content of the test, taking advantage of the "benefits" enjoyed by members of the lodge. Hence a series of unexpected events, happenings and twists that will characterize the character played by Massimo Dapporto.
The well-known Milanese actor is returning for the sixth time to the Garibaldi, where he was a guest in 2005/2006 with "Il malato immaginario," in 2007/2008 with "I due gemelli veneziani," in 2009/2010 with "L'appartamento," in 2011/2012 with "La verità," while in the 2015/2016 season he brought to the stage "Quei due."
