It will be presented on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 9:15 p.m., edition No. 2 of the "Petrarca.Fiv" literary contest, sponsored by the city and the literary magazine Con.tempo, which last year saw Giulio Pedani excel with his short story "Respirano," themed "Contaminations.
The appointment is at Casa Petrarca (Piazza Benassai, Incisa) where, in addition to the presentation of this new edition and its theme, there will be a special guest to entertain the audience. He is Max Collini, who will perform "From the Apennines to the Andes" (free admission), a show in the form of a monologue, based on stories he has written in the first person and that have most characterized his artistic journey. For years, Max Collini was the narrator of Offlaga Disco Pax (with whom he released three albums, including the award-winning debut "Socialismo Tascabile"), while today he collaborates continuously with Jukka Reverberi of Giardini di Mirò in the duo "Spartiti." whose album was released in 2016 (Austerity - Woodworm Label) and an Ep in 2017 (Servizio d'ordine, also on Woodworm), and with Reggio Emilia poet and writer Arturo Bertoldi in the reading shows "Via Toschi 23."
In addition to Collini's signature texts, pieces by contemporary authors who have significantly influenced his writing (including Paolo Nori, Simona Vinci, Marco Philopat, Arturo Bertoldi, and Gianluca Morozzi) will also be revisited on Saturday evening, as well as a few unpublished ones: all ironic, funny, intimate, universal stories set on the precise border between what could have been and what never would have been.
