Titled "Those of Sunday," it is the free-themed group exhibition that will remain on display at Casa Petrarca (Benassai Square, Incisa) onOct. 8 and 9.
The exhibition -organized by an amateur photography group, in collaboration with the Pro loco "Aldo Caselli" and under the patronage of the Municipality of Figline and Incisa Valdarno-will be officially opened at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, and will then remain open until 7 p.m.; on Sunday, Oct. 9, the exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. In particular, the shots on display are signed by Sauro Bugli, Alessandro Frignani, Gianluca Mazzeschi, Sergio Falugi, Roberto Lazzerini, Andrea Bartolozzi, Giancarlo Freschi, Stefano Montigiani, Daniele Nocentini, Stefano Lazzerini, Paola Ferrari, Cristina Corsi, Mila Michelassi, Tania Peri, Marina Munioz Duran, Roberto Marzano, Giorgi Alessandro, Emanuele Ticchioni, Sergio Franchini, Francesca Bigazzi, Marco Zatini, Simone Bianchini, Lucia Bindi, Gabriele Pinzauti, Banchetti Paolo, Alessandro Pagliazzi, Veronica Cecchi, Michele Marini, Vitali Stefano, Ilario Ledda, Giovanni Bianchi, Stefania Consumi, Susanna Tozzi, Simona Fuligni, Claudio Torrini and Paolo Antonielli.
Also on Saturday afternoon, from 4 p.m., there will be space for in-depth discussion, with a debate on the relationship between photography and communication in light of new technologies. Professional photographer Tiberio Barchielli, journalist Mario Lancisi, a contributor to L'Espresso, journalist Francesco Fondelli, editor of the periodical Il Valdarno, and councillor Mattia Chiosi will be speaking about it. Coordinating the meeting will be Benedetta Pasquini.
The guest speaker on Sunday, Oct. 9, however, will be Samuele Piccioli (of Stenopoeika , a brand manufacturer of pinhole cameras), who will try his hand at a wet collodion print portrait demonstration starting at 4:30 p.m.
