In the traditional period of Figline's Forgiveness Festivities, this year the city will welcome a special photo exhibition, so contemporary that it can be found there and in this way recognize the universality of such a dramatic moment as the pandemic that marked 2020. The photos, which tell the story of Covid-19 and some of the responses with which people reacted, will be on display in the Cloister of the Church of San Francesco (in Figline's Piazza San Francesco). On Saturday, September 5, at 5 p.m., the inauguration will be held in the presence and with the intervention of Mayor Giulia Mugnai. The Cloister will remain set up and open to visitors until Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Sept. 6-8).
The exhibition was organized by Circolo Fotografico Arno with the participation of a Lecturer from the Cultural Department of FIAF, in collaboration with Proloco "Marsilio Ficino" and the patronage of the Municipality of Figline and Incisa Valdarno.
