The Arno Photographic Circle with the sponsorship of the City of Figline and Incisa Valdarno presents, Mauro Agnesoni - Signs, a photographic exhibition at the Circolo Fotografico Arno's FIAF Gallery.
The exhibition:
The exhibition was created following a photographic campaign lasting several days intended to document the state in which the "Conolly" pavilion of the former Siena Psychiatric Hospital was located. A place accessible only with special permissions as it is public property, it cannot be accessed from other entrances except from the entrance doors, which are always locked. The series of photos document some of the writings and drawings left on the cell walls by those who lived in this facility. Going in search of the "Signs," left by those who inhabited this place, allowed us to discover an interesting series of "graffiti" that with the passage of time have become increasingly evanescent and unfortunately due to water infiltration some have been lost.
