On Friday, April 1, at 4 p.m., the "Rovai" Library (Piazza Parri, Incisa) will host the presentation of the book "Plastic Shop" (Leone editore, 2016). The author Andrea Campucci, a young writer from Incisa, born in 1983, who is currently collaborating with several Florentine publishers, will also be present.
The story told in his latest novel revolves around five friends, who decide to spend a day shopping in a Tuscan shopping village. It is there that, after consuming alcohol and drugs, the protagonists will find themselves in ahallucinatory experience, among customers, mannequins and sinister apparitions.
Introducing the afternoon will be Peter Genito, librarian of Figline's "Marsilio Ficino."
During themeeting, parents who bring their children with them can entrust them to volunteers from The Brick Club Association, who will entertain them with a building workshop.
The presentation of this book is part of the "Meetings in the Library" program: the series of events that, starting in February, the City of Figline and Incisa Valdarno (in collaboration with the Zimmer club, the Brick Club and the BiblioCoop) has dedicated to adults to promote reading [click here for the full program].
At the same time, another review, titled "Tom Thumb's Crumbs," is also underway, dedicated instead to teens and children [full programhere ].
