The series of meetings promoted by the Garibaldi Theater Chorus and dedicated to an in-depth look at the concerts scheduled in Figline for the 2017-18 season continues.
A true listening guide, which, on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 6 p.m., he will bring to the Garibaldi Redoubt (Piazza Serristori, Figline) in his second event, with free admission.
That's where Teatro Garibaldi Chorus Director Alessandro Papini will talk about Mozart ahead of the Jan. 26 concert, during which Maestro Michele Campanella (conductor and piano) will conduct the Orchestra della Toscana. The set list for that concert, in fact, includes performances of Mozart's works, such as the Piano Rondo in A minor K 511, the Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major K 488, the Piano Fantasy in C minor K 475 and the Piano Concerto No. 24 in C minor K 491.
Introductory and in-depth meetings on concert performance will continue throughout the theater season, which includes these additional dates: Feb. 14 with Eiji Oue (conductor) and Nemanja Radulovic (violin); March 24 with Ryan McAdams (conductor) and Ksenija Sidorova (accordion and bandoneon); April 10 with Lorenza Borrani (conductor and violin), Anthony Romaniuk (harpsichord) and Chiara Morandi (violin); and April 19 with George Pehlivanian (conductor) and Alessandro Carbonare (clarinet).
