Entitled "InCrosses of Lives", the exhibition will be inaugurated on Saturday 28 November at 4pm at the Palazzo Pretorio in Figline (Piazza San Francesco, free entrance) in the presence of Sabina Broetto and Silvano Monchi, authors of a photographic novel that encompasses emotions, faces and daily life inArmenia.
"InCroci di Vite" is the story of a journey last August, in which the two photographers captured the spirituality of a people in their lenses, entering homes, walking the streets and capturing everyday life.
In addition to the exhibition - also open at Palazzo Pretorio on Sunday 29 November - the authors have produced a book, the proceeds of which will be donated to 'Venti di Pace nel Caucaso' (Winds of Peace in the Caucasus), a project conceived and curated by 'Rondine Cittadella della Pace', a candidate for the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize for its work as an international student centre that unites young people from countries in conflict with each other in the name of culture.
The 'InCroci di Vite' project was realised thanks to the support of the municipality of Figline and Incisa Valdarno, the Circolo Fanin cultural association, the Credito Cooperativo del Valdarno Fiorentino and the Simply supermarket in Incisa.
